No two weeks are the same!

BB offers programmes for children and young people across the full school age range, from P1 through to S6. Most groups around Glasgow are boys-only, but a growing number welcome girls. The local BB units are organised as a ‘Company’ and typically includes up to four sections, each tailored to different age groups—

  • Anchors: P1 – P3
  • Juniors: P4 – P6
  • Company P7, S1 & S2
  • Seniors: S3 – S6

The BB programme is designed to inspire children and young people to expand their horizons. While many members have a specific interest, such as sports or arts and crafts, we nurture these passions while also encouraging them to explore new activities. Our comprehensive, well-rounded programme provides a wide range of experiences to support their growth in multiple areas.

Through the many different activities, young people will . . .

  • explore their community

A key purpose of the BB is to promote Christian values and share the Christian message, while allowing each young person to decide what they believe. Children from all faiths are warmly welcomed, with the understanding that the Christian message is an integral part of the programme.

The BB is also a uniformed organisation, as everyone wears the same thing they feel as though they belong. However nobody is excluded because they do not have the right clothes.
