The Boys’ Brigade is one of the biggest Christian Youth Organisations in the UK & Republic of Ireland,
committed to enriching lives by empowering children and young people to reach their full potential, offering opportunities to connect and participate in a variety of enjoyable and growth-focused activities and experiences.

There’s something for every young person, whether it’s camping, kayaking, first aid, or five-a-side football. Members develop new skills, build confidence, make friends, take on responsibility, and are inspired to make a positive impact in their communities—embracing the values that define us.
Our object:
The advancement of Christ’s kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness”

The Boys’ Brigade began here in Glasgow in October 1883, and quickly spread around the UK. It was on 12th October 1885 that the twelve Glasgow Companies held a meeting to form the Glasgow Battalion.
Glasgow Battalion now includes 48 Companies across Glasgow, Bearsden, Clydebank, Dumbarton, East Kilbride, Milngavie, Old Kilpatrick, and the Vale of Leven. The Battalion’s role is to advance the Brigade’s mission locally by organising activities for members of all ages and abilities, providing support, training, and fellowship opportunities for Leaders, and pursuing initiatives that enhance the Brigade’s ability to fulfill its purpose.
